TRIBESMANS GLORY (IRE) got off the mark over fences at the first time of asking in the 2m4f Novices Handicap Chase at Bangor today. He jumped well throughout and tanked into the lead two from home to win comfortably for his owners Tom Keelan, John Moynihan, Sharon Nelson and Dermot O’Donohoe. It’s a fantastic transformation from pulling up in his bumper and running blind on his debut over hurdles at Kempton. He is ahead of the handicapper and should go on to win plenty more races now that the penny has dropped.
WHAT (IRE) ran well to finish third on his rules debut in the bumper. Johnny gave him a very positive ride and looked the likely winner turning for home before tiring in the testing conditions. He is currently for sale and could provide plenty of fun this winter!
