It’s been a very busy week in the yard with several runners on both sides of the channel. 4 horses travelled to France by ferry on Sunday and quickly settled in at Fabrice Chappet’s yard in Chantilly where Noel could keep a close eye on them.

BANNISTER (FR) got things off to a flyer when he finished second in the Prix D’Aix Hurdle at Compiegne on Tuesday, earning just under £8,000 for his owners The Crossed Fingers Partnership. He took a keen hold and built up a huge lead under James Reveley before rallying gamely up the straight, just failing to hold on in the final strides. The demanding jumping test played to his strengths and James thinks he will do well around Auteuil.

CREALION (FR) & FANFAN DU SEUIL (FR) both ran well to finish fifth and the generous prize money on offer covered their travelling expenses with change!

FARO DE KERSER (FR) topped off a brilliant week with his win in the Prix Point Conditions Hurdle Race at Nantes earlier today. James Reveley gave him a fantastic ride, sticking to the better ground where possible before joining the leaders approaching the last and finding plenty for pressure. We are delighted to see him get his season off to such a great start for the Twenty One Partnership.
