DOUBLE SHUFFLE (IRE) rolled back the years at Kempton on Saturday to win the competitive 3m Handicap Chase under James Bowen. He travelled strongly throughout before clinching success with a fantastic leap at the last! The handicapper hasn’t made life very easy for him since his second behind Might Bite in the 2017 King George so we are delighted he’s been able to get another win on the board for the Crossed Fingers Partnership. He loves Kempton and will probably head back there on the 27th February for the valuable Grade 3 Close Brothers Handicap Chase.
CLONDAW CASTLE (IRE) put in another solid performance to finish second on the same card in the Grade 2 Ladbrokes Silviniaco Conti Chase. He will now enjoy a well-earned break before being aimed at the big Spring festivals where he is likely to step up to 3m.
