The staff have been busy power washing, painting, and repairing the yard ready for the forthcoming season. The first
group of horses came back into training on Monday and have summered well. There’s plenty of exciting new faces
amongst them that will now be geared towards a bumper campaign.

The few horses we have in full training during the summer months have continued to run well. DARLING DU LARGE (FR) opened her account over fences at Newton Abbot on Monday in the 2m Handicap Chase. She travelled nicely under Johnny Burke and made a strong challenge two from home to get up in the final strides. She’s at the right end of the handicap and should continue to progress in this sphere for her owner Simon Clarke
