COME ON TEDDY (IRE) produced a career best effort at Cheltenham yesterday to finish a close third in the fiercely competitive Grade 3 Pertemps Final. Johnny had him nice and settled at the rear of the field before making steady headway three from home and staying on strongly up the hill to fare the best of the English runners. The Noel Fehily Racing syndicate should have plenty of exciting days ahead and we look forward to seeing them back on the racecourse soon.

Meanwhile our French operation continues to work well and bring home plenty of prize money in the process! DOCTOR DEX (IRE) put in a much-improved performance at Nancy last weekend to finish second in the Prix Jean Prouve for the Crossed Fingers Partnership. He’s come out of the race well so will probably head to Fontainebleau on the 3rd April for a similar race.

GARDE LA VICTOIRE (FR) made a very promising debut for the yard to finish a close third in the Prix Solitaire at Compiegne on Wednesday, earning just over £7,000 for Grahame & Diana Whateley. The French steeple chase course didn’t faze him, he put in a great round of jumping out in front and looked to have every chance of holding on after jumping the last! His last completed start was in November before he joined us so he’s sure to come on from the run.
