COME ON GRUFF (IRE) made a winning start to his career in the 2m Maiden Bumper at Lingfield on Monday for owners Heather Haddock & Neal Griffith. He travelled nicely under Johnny Burke and produced a powerful run down the wide outside to get up in the final strides. He will more than likely have another run in a bumper before embarking on a novice hurdle campaign at the start of the new season (Pictured left with Zahid).

We also have his full brother CALL ME RAFA (IRE) in the yard. He was broken in by Martin Jones and has spent the last couple of months in training here to learn the routine etc. He will make his debut for owners Chris & Candia Compton later this year following a summer break at grass.

We don’t have any runners this weekend but the entry board is starting to fill up with some better conditions expected next week.
