How long have you worked here? 12 years with a couple of AWOL moments in between
What made you start a career in racing? Going to Paul Nicholls for work experience whilst I was at secondary school
Favourite horse in the yard and why? Gods Own AKA Basil because he’s bonny, super handsome and a lovable rogue!
Favourite racecourse and why? Cheltenham, I’ve led up the most winners there.
Fondest racing memory? Rigmarole winning the Bula Hurdle
If you didn’t work in racing what would be your dream job? Gin taste tester
If you were on a desert island with one other member of the TRG team who would it be and why? I couldn’t possibly choose!
Celebrity crush? Dead heat between Michael B Jordan and Usain Bolt
Have you ever met anyone famous? Sally Gunnell
What’s one sentence you’d like to hear from Tom? You can have the whole summer off as paid holiday
What’s keeping you busy during lockdown? A few feral horses and learning to run like Forest Gump
