Weekend Results

STAMP YOUR FEET (IRE) landed the valuable 2m3f Handicap Hurdle at Hereford on Saturday for owner J P McManus. He travelled well throughout and showed a good turn of foot to pull clear of his rivals after the last. He’s crept up the handicap twenty pounds since winning his first hurdle race at the same track twelve months ago, we could see further improvement on his favoured better ground.

BUN DORAN (IRE) made a very promising seasonal reappearance at Cheltenham on Saturday to finish second in the 2m Handicap Chase. We are confident he has a big handicap win ahead of him.

SUPER SID (IRE) made a winning debut for the yard at Southwell yesterday in the competitive 2m Maiden Hurdle. There was plenty to like about his performance, he jumped and travelled nicely before taking the lead approaching the last and holding on to win by a short head. Adrian felt he would have no problem stepping up in trip so there will be plenty of options for him going forward.

Noel George made it a double on the day steering DANDY DUKE (IRE) to victory in the 3m Amateur Riders Handicap Hurdle. His stamina came to the fore in the closing stages and he won with quite a bit in hand. His handicap mark is due to go up nine pounds next week so he could head to Chepstow on Wednesday under a penalty where he is likely to get his favoured bottomless ground.
