We recently invested in a Flexineb portable equine nebuliser for the yard. It is an easy-to-use drug delivery device that produces a very fine mist of aerosolised drug. It can also be used with saline to help break up any mucus and condition the airways. The direct delivery to the lungs also enables a quick recovery time and return to racing.

Rugby World Cup Tickets

Tom is selling 4 spare tickets for the South Africa vs Wales QF at Twickenham this Saturday. Face value of £215 each. Please get in touch with Lauren in the office.

We don’t have many entries this week due to the dry weather forecast.

DEXCITE (FR) ran a good race on Saturday to finish a very close third in the Weatherbys Hamilton Hurdle. He has come out of the race well and should keep on improving, he has plenty of options as he is also eligible for novice hurdles.

We have two runners declared for Worcester tomorrow.

FROSTY STEEL in the 3:05 National Hunt Novices Hurdle over 2m and FLORIDA CALLING in the 4:50 Maiden Hurdle over 2m7f, Paddy Brennan is booked to ride.

DEXCITE (FR) has been entered at Chepstow on Saturday in the Weatherbys Hamilton Hurdle Race and the National Hunt Novices Hurdle. He has strengthened up over the summer and we look forward to him making his seasonal debut for the Crossed Fingers Partnership.

VALSEUR DU GRANVAL (FR)  put in a considerably better effort to finish a close third at Warwick yesterday in the 2m novice hurdle. He had been off the track for two years after disappointing on his hurdle debut, however the time off certainly looks like it has put him right and he should have plenty more to offer his owner Simon Clarke this season.

VALSEUR DU GRANVAL (FR) Declared at Warwick

We’ve had a busy morning on the gallops with syndicates Five Valleys Racing and Silkword both here to see GORSKY ISLAND and KILBREE KID (IRE).

VALSEUR DU GRANVAL (FR) has been declared at Warwick tomorrow in the 2:10 National Hunt Novices Hurdle with Sam Twiston-Davies booked to ride.

Lystra Adams

NOCHE DE REYES (FR) finished midfield at Worcester earlier today in the competitive 2 mile handicap chase. We were all rather surprised to see the owners partner Lystra Adams wearing a matching set of racing silks! Lystra was generating interest in the charity camel race due to take place at Chepstow on Wednesday which she has very bravely agreed to take part in to help raise money for Paul’s Place. Any kind donations to help her reach her target of £1k would be much appreciated.

The Thoroughbred Ladies

The Thoroughbred Ladies came to the yard earlier today to see UNTIL WINNING (FR) do some fast work on the wood chip gallop. He took a heavy fall when bidding for his fourth win over fences last season so is likely to start things off with a run over hurdles to help regain his confidence.

Busy morning schooling on the sand circle with Paddy Brennan and Jason Maguire….
